EWC Friday Night Elite
Episode 2
May 4, 2007
Val – Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Friday Night Elite! We are live from this huge arena, with over 20,000 fans chomping at the bit for some EWC action! I'm your play by play man, and the voice of the EWC, Val Martal! We have a huge card for you tonight! The main event sees our EWC Champion Tiffany in action for the first time on EWC television with her friend and partner, Faith, taking on “The Wonderboy” Tom Burgess and Darryl “Reality” Noke! Also, the owner apparently has a huge announcement to make as well! But before all that, last week the war between Ryot and Dime escalated in a tag match when these two could not keep their anger in check with Ryot costing his team a win. This week, Ryot is in action and Dime has been barred from ringside!
Logan “The Minister” Castle vs. Ryot
-Dime Barred From Ringside-
Val – With Dime barred from ringside, I have a feeling we will see a clear winner in this match without it being tainted. On his way to the ring now is the disciple of Sinister, Logan Castle. The mad Minister has not had the best of luck since he started here, facing some stiff competition each and every week! Tonight, I think he will either have to win or face his leader's wrath. And that guy is enough to scare the devil himself! Ryot is in the ring, pacing like a caged animal.
-Logan's music begins to play. After a moment, there is no entrance from Castle. Val begins to stall for time-
Val – The rage in Ryot is only going to be satiated by his match with Dime, but he can work out some anger on the Minister tonight. Well his music is still playing, and I don't have a clue where he is. I saw him backstage earlier today, and I know he's here.
-the referee talks the ring announcer after 3 minutes of Castle not appearing-
Val – Looks like the referee has made a ruling. Let's take it up to the ring announcer and see what's going on.
Ring Announcer – The referee has ordered that if Logan Castle does not appear in the ring by the count of 10, he will lose this match...by forfeit!
Val – Forfeit? We've never had a loss by forfeit here, and I don't know.....Wait a minute, what the hell!! Get a camera back there!!
-the camera is seen bouncing up and down as the cameraman runs backstage towards the concession area where Castle is hanging by a handcuff to a locked door handle! He's hanging down from the handle, as Dime is seen entering the camera's view. Dime is holding an electric guitar! He grins as he sees the cameraman-
Dime – Since I can't come to the ring, I thought I'd give you a little glimpse into the future, Ryot!
-Dime looks back to Castle with a grin!-
Dime – You are a minister, right? Has anyone in the choir ever played this song for you, padre?
-Dime unloads with a thunderous guitar shot right into Logan's face, knocking him unconscious and busting his head open-
Val – Holy hell! Dime was barred from ringside, but I guess he decided to send a little message to his opponent at Chaos! There's no way he's going to make it out here for his match! The ten count is up, and the referee is calling for the bell!
Ring Announcer – The winner of this match, as a result of a forfeit,...Ryot
-Ryot stares intently at the video wall as Dime drops the guitar and faces the camera again-
Dime – Since I can't come out there, why don't you come back here? I got more where that came from!
-Ryot leaps from the ring and runs full speed up the ramp, as Dime meets him just inside the gorilla position! Ryot spears Dime to the floor, and the two begin throwing fists with Ryot getting the better of the exchange at first. Dime kicks Ryot off, and grabs that guitar again. He swings for the fences, but Ryot ducks and it shatters against the wall! Dime drops it, and runs at Ryot again. This time, security has made their way to the position. Seven men try to restrain them, but it's simply not working! Finally pulling them apart, Ryot grins and makes the slash mark across his neck in Dime's direction!-
Val – Can you feel it? These two want at each other in the worst way, and I'm not sure if they can wait till Chaos! Barring Dime from ringside didn't help anything! We need more security back there!!
“The Icon” Andrew Watts vs. Mikey Impact
-Winner Gets an EWC North American Title Shot Next Week-
Val – Watts has made his way to ringside during that melee backstage, and I guess we are ready for the next match! The winner of this match gets a shot at the EWC North American title next week against Reality! The stakes are obviously high here, as Watts is waiting inside the ring for his opponent!
-the music for Mikey hits as he gives the thumbs up to the crowd as he heads to the ring. Slapping hands with the fans along ringside as he glances up to Watts. Watts remains in the ring, tapping his foot as if he is in a hurry to get this match going! Impact rolls into the ring, and the referee checks both mens' boots and calls for the bell!-
Val – I think we can expect a clean match here, both these men are fan favorites and Andrew is riding an undefeated streak right now here in the EWC.
-the two lock up, and Impact immediately grabs a side headlock as Watts pushes him back into the corner. The Icon peppers Mikey with lefts and rights to the gut, as Mikey releases the hold. Watts stands back up, smiles and shoves Impact back against the corner! Mikey steps up and shoves him back! Watts invites him in, and Mikey fakes him out by stepping in and then immediately landing a kick to the gut as Impact goes for a quick DDT, which Andrew pushes off from. Impact taps his head with his finger-
Val – These two are really sizing each other up, and Mikey is letting Watts know that he's got his number here tonight!
-Another lock up, as Mikey whips Watts in. A big clothesline misses as Watts ducks under, cradling the arm with his hands and then the other arm with his legs in a crucifix! Early pinfall attempt!-
1........................2..................
Val – Wow, Andrew almost got a near fall here and now he's taunting Impact himself by shaking his head. As if to say “You fell for that?” Mikey rolls to his feet, and sweeps Watts' leg out from under him! Impact pounces on top of him, and begins pounding fists into Watts' head! The fans erupt as Impact get to his feet,, throwing his arms out as if to say “This the best you got?”
-Watts rubs his head as he rolls to a knee, and Impact lands a low drop kick right to the face that sends him back to the canvas one more time! Impact goes for an elbowdrop, but Watts moves and Mikey hits the mat hard. Andrew quickly runs to the top rope with catlike agility, a grin on his face. Mikey nips up, and kicks the top turnbuckle, making a very uncomfy seat for his opponent as he drops straight south on the turnbuckle!-
Val – Wow, and I thought Impact's match last week was a match of the year candidate! These two are putting on a wrestling clinic! And I doubt there will be any bruises where Andrew just landed!
-Andrew tries to fight through the pain, as Mikey climbs on the second turnbuckle! He signals to the fans, and lands the Impact from the top rope, driving Andrew's head right into the canvas!-
Val – Impact, the Impact!! From the top rope, no less! Find a fat lady, she's ready to sing!
-Mikey crawls over, and throws an arm over Andrew for the pin!-
1........................2............................3!
Val – Holy cow, what a match! What a match!! Mikey Impact just earned his first EWC title match right here tonight! And did he ever put on a clinic with The Icon! Look at him, he's getting up and thanking the fans for the support as both these men left it in the ring tonight! Watts has nothing to be ashamed of in this encounter!
-Mikey begins to head back up the ramp, holding his hand up in victory. He turns back to the fans, giving a thumbs up but does not see a man walk up behind him. The man wears a jacket, and looks to be part of some band, given the way he is dressed. Mikey turns around, and goes eye to eye with the fellow. He looks straight into the man's eyes, and the man stares back, shaking his head!-
Val – I know who that is! That's Alexander Dreadnaught! But what's he doing out here? He just recently signed a contract here, but he's not on the card tonight! He's shaking his head at Mikey, like he's disappointed.
-Alex steps back, keeping his eyes on Mikey before disappearing behind the curtain. Mikey looks confused, not sure what that was all about!-
Val – I don't know what Alex was up to there, but I know Mikey has earned his first EWC title match against Reality next week! That should be one helluva match!
-the video wall comes to life as the owner of the EWC appears, sitting at his desk somewhere in the building-
Mark Horton – Hello there, folks! I'm Mark Horton, owner of the EWC! And I promised you a major announcement tonight, and I'm going to give you one! But first, let me go ahead and wish Tiffany & Faith best of luck in their match tonight against their opponents! I'm sure Burgess and Noke will prove to be little challenge for the girls!
Mark Horton – However, there is other news to discuss! First of all, we have a PPV coming up on May 20, EWC Chaos! On the card, we have already signed a rematch inside a steel cage between The Wonderboy and the EWC Champion Tiffany for the title!
Mark Horton – I have also added a match for the EWC North American championship! In a singles match, the champion whomever that may be will face off against Sinister! It's time we clear up the North American title picture here in the EWC. Whoever wins the match between Impact and Reality will face Sinister at the PPV!
Mark Horton – And because I don't believe they will wait for the Pay Per View after what I have seen tonight, Ryot and Dime will face off in their Falls Count Anywhere match right here NEXT week on Elite! And on top of that, it will be the first match on the show! The issue must be settled!
Mark Horton – And now for the big news, next week we begin the tournament for the newly created EWC Television Title! This title will be the most often defended title in the company, as the champion must defend it at least three times a month on TV. The brackets are as follows:
“Ballistic” Bryan Deas vs. "The Icon" Andrew Watts
Alexander Dreadnaught vs. Faith
Ray Damian vs. Mike “The Man” Auger
Mark Horton – The winners of these three matches will face off in a triple threat match at Chaos to determine the first ever EWC Television Champion! Thank you for your time!
Val – Wow! A new championship! The EWC TV Title tournament begins next week! Not only that, but a huge announcement about next week's show with Ryot and Dime finally meeting one on one in that Falls Count Anywhere match as our main event!
Main Event
EWC Champion Tiffany & Faith vs. Darryl “Reality” Noke & “The Wonderboy” Tom Burgess
Val – Last week, we saw Reality defend his title against Sinister, whom lost by DQ thanks to interference from Faith! This week, both Reality and Wonderboy get a chance for payback as they get Tiffany and Faith in a tag match!
-”Baby Hates Me” by Danko Jones begins playing, as an elaborate entrance involving smoke and pyro begins. Tiffany steps through the smoke, holding her title above her head in a pose. Faith follows behind, clapping for her partner as both girls begin heading to the ring! Climbing into the ring, the girls seem to have a grin on their face-
Val – I think this is like a dream come true for Reality and Burgess. They have wanted nothing more than to get their hands on these two, and tonight they get them in a tag battle!
-First comes the number one contender to the EWC title, Wonderboy gets fired up as he smacks hands with the fans as he points to Tiffany, and signals that the title is going to be his very soon. He rolls into the ring, and turns back to see his partner. Tiffany and Faith attack Burgess immediately before Reality appears. Clubbing forearms and kicks sends Wonderboy to the canvas, as they both maul him!-
Val – What a cheap shot!! Burgess' partner hasn't even gotten to the ring, and these two attack before the match even starts! Look at Faith, holding Tom up while Tiffany tees off with big right hands! And what a disgusting move, she just slapped him across the face! Damn, that fired Tom up! He breaks the hold of Faith, nailing her with a back elbow and goes eye to eye with Tiffany! Look at that staredown! These two are gonna tear each apart at Chaos, and tonight they get to do it a little early!
-Wonderboy invites Tiffany to take a shot, tapping his chin. She pulls her arm back ready to hit, when Faith slides back in and clips his leg! Burgess crumples to the mat, holding his knee as Faith puts him into a half Boston crab! Tiffany gets down in front of his face, and screams at him!-
Val – This is terrible! Where the hell is Reality?? Tiffany is disrespecting Wonderboy here! This is a damn mugging! Somebody get out here!
-As if on cue, Reality's music starts playing and he comes racing down the ramp. Faith releases the hold, and meets him in the aisle! The two exchange blows, while Tiffany drives the point of her knee into Burgess' face! Reality sends Faith into the steel barricade, and heads for the ring! Tiffany tries to clothesline him, but Reality ducks and lands a clothesline of his own! He pulls her up, and sends her in for the ride again only to land a huge spinebuster! Wonderboy begins to get up, and looks over at his partner, seeming to question him where he was during the early part of this match!-
Val – I have no idea where Reality was. But as I always say to my girlfriend, better late than pregnant! Faith is holding her back on the outside as these two now have the champion all to themselves! Wonderboy pulls Tiff up, and lands a side suplex on her! Reality ascends the turnbuckle, and lands a big elbowdrop off the top rope!
-Burgess hits a legdrop across her chest, as Reality picks her back up again! He fires her into the corner, and runs up behind her to land a big German suplex! Faith makes it back into the ring, and Burgess cuts her off by nailing a back body drop!!-
Val – These two men are large and in charge! They are ruling the ring! This tag match is turning out to be very one-sided!
-Music begins playing as the crowd looks back at the entrance as the man known as Sinister stands in the entranceway, staring at Reality before heading down to the ring! Reality meets him by leaping over the top rope, which Sinister catches him in mid-air!-
Val – Look at that! Is that scary strength or what! Sinister just caught 240 lb. Man in mid air!
-Tiffany is back up, spinning Wonderboy around with a kick to the gut. She sets him up for one of her finishers, the Schoolboy's Dream!-
Val – Oh my God! She's going for the finisher!!
-Burgess pushes her off, and reverses into a Wonder Buster on the champion! Faith charges in at Wonderboy, who sidesteps her and nails her with a Wonder Driver! Both women are laid out! Burgess covers Tiffany, not noticing as Sinister lands a vicious running powerslam on Reality on the floor!-
1..................2............................3!
Val - “The Wonderboy” just pinned the EWC Champion! If that happens at Chaos, we're gonna have a new champion!! He just spotted Sinister, and heads out after him but Sinister heads up the ramp while Tom is checking on his partner!
-Burgess helps Reality up, and then the referee holds both mens' arms up in victory!-
Val – Wow, what a hellacious match! Sinister is hellbent on becoming the North American champion, can't ya tell? But the bigger story here is that Burgess just pinned the EWC champion! That proves he can do it, now all he has to do is prove it once again!
Val – This has been EWC Friday Night Elite! I'm Val Martal! Next week, the North American title is on the line as Reality faces Mikey Impact in the main event! Don't miss it! Congratulations, Wonderboy! One down, one to go!
-the scene fades out with Wonderboy and Reality standing victorious! The EWC cameras take us backstage where Ray Damian is stood before us in a calm mood, holding a mic, and wearing his wrestling attire of black close fit pants that reads “Standard Gladiator” going down the sides in the color red. He also wears a black t-shirt that reads, “I set the standards as Best
Damn Gladiator”, and also sports a pair of black wrist pads that reads, “Standard Gladiator”, going across it as well. There is not really any reaction to his presence due to the fact that no one really knows him yet.
Behind him we can observe the Friday Night Elite poster in which has many EWC wrestlers shown on it. Ray Damian suddenly has a disdain look on his face as if he had just gotten a bad taste in his mouth. Damian turns around hesitantly to look at the poster, and as soon as his eyes catch it, he
has to spit. He looks at the picture of Tiffany as she has the EWC
Championship held aloft her head, and pretends to be dismayed. He then looks at Wonderboy, and then Dime, and then Logan Castle, and then Sinister, followed by Faith and Reality, and then embarrassingly brings his hand over his
face. He turns back around to face the camera as he takes his hand from his face
to reveal a shameful and disdainful mixture of expressions. Damian ascends the mic to his mouth as few seconds later after trying to redeem himself, the espressions fade.
Ray Damian: I think I made a massive mistake didn’t I? I think stepping foot
into this business was possibly the biggest mistake since “Norbit”, that I
have ever made in my career. The only difference is there's not a fat woman
I'm dealing with, I'm dealing with 50% of the roster that don't appeal to
me. But anyways, I'll get back to that in a minute, in case ya'll don't know
who you're looking at, well how the hell can you not. This shouldn't be the
first time you've seen my face in a wrestling business, I've been in couple
others, and I've left my mark in them and you ask how? Well plain damn
simply, I'm The Best Damn Gladiator, no matter how short, no matter what the
hell my complexion is, and plus, with the skills I possess, and a name like
Ray Damian, I shouldn't be forgotten. Now, I don't have much time to waste
here so I'll go ahead, and get back to talking about the roster.
Fans start to boo.
Ray Damian: Ok, What competition or no, what interesting competition does
The Gladiator got here? What do we got? Oh yes, some church, cult
whatever damn Minister, some stupid damn Wonderboy, who obviously didn’t take the
time to look up the meaning of his name, Some sexy diva, who’s the
current EWC Champion. Then you got some other people like Reality, and Faith, the
list goes on but I just don’t even give a damn. What I give damn about is next week Friday when The Gladiator will make his debut in that ring out there. Don’t know who my opponent, might not even care who it turns out to be, but all the Gladiator knows is that he’s going out there, and he’s gonna
show all of you, who by the way makes me wanna spit again, what a true Gladiator is all about.
Fans boo Damian again.
Ray Damian: Shhh! Or I’ll come out and distribute the waste from my
mouth.
Fans boo again.
Yeah so as The Gladiator was saying, I’m not those Gladiators back in Rome
from like the 15th century, I’m the new improved, 20th Century, Best Damn
Gladiator who has already brought lots of greatness to the name. Anyways, I
will be watching the show very closely, so I’ll know how my opponent will
work once in the ring with him…or her. Till next week… but if the Gladiator
happens to not show up though, It's because I'll probably be home constantly vomiting.
Ray Damian drops the mic down and walks off with his hand over his mouth,
trying not to do just that, as we cut elsewhere.
